How are Sun-E-Land Bikes so affordable?

That is a great question. If you have searched online or gone to a bike shop, you will notice that many E-bikes cost thousands of dollars. That is not a good option for most people. Our goal is to encourage biking, exercise and outdoor activity and E-bikes are a super fun way for people to stop driving their cars so much and enjoy the road in a different way.

We purchase our bikes in bulk, thus avoiding the massive transportation costs associated with shipping a single E-bike across the world to your door. What’s worse, when the E-bike arrives, you have to assemble it. If there is an issue with the bike, are you going to call the manufacture in L.A.? Belguim? China?

Our goal is to make the process of trying and buying an E-bike as painless and affordable as possible. We order it for you, we assemble it for you, we deliver it to your door and we will service any of the issues you have with the bike. All for the affordable price of $800 each or $750 each when you buy a pair. Just tell us how we can make this experience easy for you.

Hi – are disc brakes something that can be put on the bike? Thanks so much.

Disc brakes could be put onto the bikes, but the U-brakes work just as well.
These bikes are for road and groomed trail riding and do not need suspension or disc brakes.

    Hi.

My husband and I are looking at getting e-bikes to ride for exercise around Birch Bay. It’s hilly so we thought it would be more fun to have a boost to make hills easier since we are older. My question is, what is the height and weight limit for these bikes to be able to perform well? My husband is 6’4″ and I am 5’8″.

    Thanks.

Hey Cyndi, The bikes are a one-size fits all model. Even for someone 6’4″ it should work fine.
It will make cruising hills a breeze.
We will be at Boundary Bay for the market Saturday April 17 if you want to try them out.
If that doesn’t work, please let me know another time.
      Thanks,
      Matt

How much does an e bike weigh? I just bought a new bike rack for my car, based on the weight of my current bikes. It’s a rack whede you ‘set’ you bike in vs hanging
    the bike on a rack.

    1. mattholmes07

The bike weighs about 45 pounds without the battery. 55 pounds with the battery.
When moving the bike or putting on a bike rack, I recommend removing the battery during transport.
